FAQ

Which Dyson products can you repair?

Most faults with the Dyson Airwrap HS01

and the HD01 hairdryer can be repaired.

Click here for more information about Airwrap and hairdryer repairs.

Most cordless vacuums can be repaired.

If you have a newer model such as DC58, DC59 V6, V7, V8, V10, V11 and onwards, they are definitely worth repairing and still have all spare parts available.

Genuine parts might not be available for older battery models such as DC16, DC30, DC31, DC35,DC43, DC44, but there may still be suitable compatible parts or second hand parts.

Various issues that can be repaired include:

Poor performance. Low suction.

Dyson V6 V7 V8 V10 V11 brush not spinning.

Cutting out or pulsing where machine revs up and down.

Poor runtime. Where machine will only last up to a couple of minutes before needing to be recharged.

Dyson V10 red trigger. V10 cracked cyclones.

V10 blockage light or filter light staying on.

Dyson V11 red trigger.

V11 cracked cyclones.

V11 blockage or "wash filter" on display.

Upright Dysons and Cylinder Dysons (with a plug).

Most models made can still be repaired.

Spare parts such as motors, brush-bars and hoses for machines under 20 years old are usually still available. So any model number DC04 and above can normally be repaired.

Dyson Robot Vacuum Cleaner (RB01).

Parts supply is limited to basic items such as the battery, brush-bar and filter.

If this model required a repair, I would advise contacting Dyson. If they say a repair is possible, then the cost would probably be around £100.

Dyson Fans, Fan Heaters and Purifiers.

Some older fans are classed as obsolete by Dyson. Parts availability even for newer Dyson fans is limited.  So most repairs (if possible) would have to be via Dyson themselves.

If you require a replacement filter for a Dyson air purifier, I can supply genuine and compatible versions.

Can you repair other makes such as Shark, Vax, Gtech?

I only have Dyson parts readily available.

Supply of spare parts for other makes can be restricted, so you would normally have to go directly to the manufacturer to purchase the spare required.
